There are one or two people that I know who know about it, though I don't know if they've ever even checked it out. (no one even saw the Time article I was in...I thought that was a HOOT).

I blog as if anyone I know could read it, though I do find some comfort in the fact that it is still private. I know that when I found out I had been discovered by a few people in our previous congregation I couldn't blog for 2 weeks till I got used to the idea that I wasn't anonymous.

It is always entirely possible that someone can say "oh...you go to that church? I read your pastor's wife's blog (in fact, I have had that happen with one of our seminary field workers). Our denomination despite having over a few million members can at times be a very small world.RPWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16686240798146992394noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17691136.post-56548914192411531772007-05-08T12:42:00.000-07:002007-05-08T12:42:00.000-07:00Another pw here. When I'm introducing myself to somebody, I'm much more likely to describe myself as a homeschooler than as a pastor's wife. Also, when we tell our kids that they should "behave and live up to expectations" it's because we don't want to give homeschoolers a bad reputation. What's it matter whether they're pastor's kids or not?Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16152213210269075304noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17691136.post-22780641132835408082007-04-23T09:28:00.000-07:002007-04-23T09:28:00.000-07:00Feeling like an idiot...Thanks for explaining all ...Feeling like an idiot...

Thanks for explaining all my St. Louis area visitors too!

I think my mom was a rather atypical as a pastor's wife.Marie N.https://www.blogger.com/profile/02358976552469177345noreply@blogger.com
