Voting No Brainer

Pastor Christopher Hall from This Side of the Pulpit says it loudly and clearly.

Can there be any doubt? He's right. It's simply evil.

  1. Thanks for the "bump"!

Not that the other guy isn't evil too (he may be, just as we all are lacking righteousness) But he's just not about killing infants. To me, that's a pretty big deal.

  2. On this issue and this issue alone I'll vote for McCain. But I still believe he is no conservative, and part of my gut believes he says these things simply for conservatives. The other part of my gut really hopes he actually believes it.

  3. Glenda,

Exactly...McCain has a good record in voting for conservatives as far as court appointments, too, so that matters to me as well.

  4. I've not really paid attention, just passing observance for the most part. But one more thing I wonder about, if McCain really is so pro-life, why oh why is he thinking about a pro-choice republican for vp?

I know I know some will say to get the "undecided" and the pro-choice republicans. But really if you stand for something, stand for it and take your licks as they fall.

  5. I have no idea. It probably is a situation where they are trying to get the broadest appeal possible...and like all other candidates, I am sure that he is surrounded by political advisors who are only interested in getting the vote (well, that's what they are hired for, I suppose). My general impression, even if they deny it, is that they were testing the waters to see what the response would be. If people responded positively, then they would know that abortion isn't the key issue that people are concerned about. If they responded with an emphatic "no" then they needed to hit that issue even harder. This may have been a gauge of the importance of the issues, maybe not so much about the actual VP candidate.

It was after that when he began hitting the issue a lot harder.

I'm just hypothesizing though and hoping.
