Come to Church, Get a Toaster?
Pastor Brown over at Confessional Gadfly has a good post on how losing our focus on what worship really and truly is causes us to jump into the morass of constantly changing things in order to please people, or to grow dissatisfied with church and start minimizing our need (and our duty as Pr. Hall points out in the comments as well) to be there and receive the gifts God has for us.

Hello, I just wanted to say I like your blog. I don't really have a comment on the toaster issue except that it's a pretty stupid idea to get people to come to church. I'm a pastor's wife too and I'm sure glad to see someone else shares my own thoughts on the matter! I live in a tiny town up north and I get to feeling like no one understands.
Are you trying to make money from your websites by using popunder advertisments?
If so, did you ever use Pop Cash?
